No Ambercrombie And Finch At The Shore?

Hello, hello--hello!

Well, I've just been informed by a very close source (who just happen to be my parents) that the new school year at Our Lady of the Holy Trinity School begins in about two weeks.  And that's about right.  After all, today is the 21st of August.  And you know what that means, ladies and gentlemen:  back to school preparations, which always happens at this time of the year, and I don't mean shopping at the local mall for academic provisions, either.  Yeah, it takes a lot of mental as well as physical preparation for the coming school year as well.  After all, it's the mental that really makes the school experience successful, my friend.

Oh well, at least there's one place I won't be going to to prepare to go back to school:  the local Ambercrombie and Finch, which I think is somewhere in the Valley.  I know it's not around here, where my friends and I live.  Interesting news about A&F this past week.  It seems that they're actually paying The Situation, one of the stars of the MTV reality series, Jersey Shore, not to wear any of their apparel.  Seems that he gives their company a bad image.  That's like Nathan's Hot Dogs of New York paying me and my friends not to eat any of their hot dogs, because we like to put ketchup on them (which makes the dogs quite tasty, I must say).  Well anyway, A&F don't have to pay me or any of my friends to wear their stuff.  We're willing to do that for free!  I must say that A&F doesn't appeal to any of us.  We prefer to wear FUBU, and Tommy Hillfinger.  Oh well, I guess that certain apparel appeals to certain members of the culture, and from the pictures that I have seen in the A&F advertisements, well, lets just say that the Jersey Shore cast members doesn't fit in with that particular image.  You know, the blond, blue eyed, fraternity and sorority crowd.  Maybe that's the reason why A&F is having a hissy fit over The Jersey Shore Crowd wearing their stuff.  Just saying.

Well, that's all the time we have for this week.  Until next time, be well, stay well, and remember to help the disaster survivors!

Sincerely,

Marley Sue
