Danger On Your Computer, And In The Water

Hello, hello, hello!

Well, I'm sure you all are wondering what happened to my blog within the past two weeks.  Let me tell you.  My computer had one of the worst case of a virus any computer could ever have!  The virus took out my whole Internet Explorer browser!  I couldn't get on line for over a solid week!  I ran my McAfee Virus Scan every day for that whole week, hoping against hope that that would cure it.  Then, on the morning of Tuesday, August 10, a miracle occurred:  I clicked on the Windows Update icon on my computer, and my browser came back!  Praise God and thank you Jesus!  But you know, dear friends, that just goes to show you how debilitating computer viruses can be, because, let's face it, just about everybody is on line these days.  It's how we work, it's how we play, it's how we live, and a virus or some other computer malady can literally cripple you.  Thank goodness we have computer protection programs like McAfee to help keep our computers running properly.

Now let's see.  What's been going on in the week since my computer's been down?  Oh, yes.  They've finally plugged up that oil well in the gulf of Mexico (Praise God!  Another miracle!) and it seems to be working properly.  The oil that had leaked out seems to have dispersed as well.  Do I think everything seem to be going fine?  Yes.  Will I ever eat sea food that came out of the Gulf waters?  Probably not.  You see, when the oil well first exploded and started leaking, BP flew a dispersant over the oil slick  to help break down the oil, and that dispersant was known to be toxic.  Mix that with unrefined oil that also was toxic, and you have something that's double toxic.  And, any sea life that survives that kind of toxic brew, well, just might give you a little bit more that just indigestion if you should ever eat it.  Many people say that things will soon be back to normal in the gulf, now that the oil well has successfully been plugged, because, well, we don't see any more oil, and just because you don't see something, it must mean it's not there, is it?
Well, these people must not believe in God or Santa Claus.  So, thus, I would say, just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there.  So I would eat anything that comes out of the Gulf with the utmost of caution.

That's all for this week.  Until next time, be well, stay well, and don't forget to help the earthquake survivors!

Sincerely,

Marley Sue
