I'd like to say "hello" to all my friends and family.

Well, I'm sure you all have heard about the big news story of the past week:  the Nobel Peace Prize, one of the most distinguished prizes known in the world, has been bestowed upon--drum roll, please--America's own, President Barack Hussein Obama (insert applause and cheers here)!  And the reason for this bestowing is simple:  the fact that, the moment Obama took office and entered the White House, he began to restore connections to the rest of the world that the previous administration all but destroyed.

So, a president who hasn't been in office for a single year wins the Nobel Prize for peace, the third sitting American President to do so if I can recall (Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Warren Harding was the other two), and all the right wing conservatives want to have a collective cow right about now, for this particular bunch have been against the Obama administration since the inauguration, mainly because the Democrats won the election and their Republican party didn't, which, even I have to admit, is very small of these particular people, all of whom claim to be followers of Christ.  I wonder what the King of Kings would say about their recent behavior in this country?  Anyone's guess is that it's probably won't be anything complementary!

I don't know about any of you, but I think that this is really a call to action, not only for Obama, but  for the rest of this country as well!  Think about it!   America is going into a boiling pot in a hand basket, and the handle on the basket is broken!  Our factories are either all closed down or are closing down at a record breaking rate!  Our office jobs are being out sourced to Asia (along with the aforementioned factory jobs), our educational system, once the flagship of the entire world, is now the pits, and we're still raging war over whether we should have subsidized health care in this country (which we should)!  The ordinary working people, once the backbone of this once-great nation, is now being treated like an old hand me down shoe!  And what are these same people concerned about?  Whether a well-known director should come back to the United States and own up to what he did thirty years ago!  Hello, people!  That's not going to open your factories back up!  Or give you and your families subsidized health care either!  It's time we all got behind our Nobel-winning prize president and help him restore this country to the prestige and luster that it once had, before the right wing conservatives began running it into the ground!
