Gotta Love Those Coupons!
Hello, everybody!
Well, it's been a pretty slow week, my friends. Other than the white house "Beer Fest" that was supposed to bring the races together, nothing much has been happening lately, so don't be too surprised if today's blog will be a little shorter than previous ones.
Boy, writing a weekly blog sure is very hard work, especially when you don't have anything to write about. I mean, some weeks so much happens that you have to pick and choose what to write about; other weeks, like this past one, nothing much happens, and the proverbial literary well runs dry, you know what I mean? Like, this past week, the most that happened was us taking my Yorkie Bootsie to the vet for her yearly check up. Luckily, she's fine. I'm also clipping out coupons for bread, lunch meat, and juice boxes. Even though Summer's been great, it's not gonna last forever. I know I have to prepare to go back to the "snake pit" (school, to those of you who are over 30, but I'm sure the teachers must know what I'm talking about!).
Spending a Sunday morning clipping out coupons may be time consuming, but what you can save at the check out counter sure is worth it. Anyone who's ever had to do the shopping sure knows this for a fact. Every thing's so expensive now days, and you have to have coupons and in-store specials just to help make it these days, especially now, when just about everyone seem to have more cents than dollars. And the coupons sure do help, although I wish they would feature coupons for something us students use every school day, like pencils and pens, erasers, spiral books and binder paper, you know, the essentials. After all, the things that goes into our backpacks are just as important as the things that goes into our lunch boxes. Maybe even more so, if you think about it.
There, I guess we did have something to talk about this week. Until next time, be well and stay well!
Sincerely,
Marley Sue
