Holiday Happenings

Good Saturday morning to one and all!  I normally make blog entries on Sundays, but I'm writing this entry today because tomorrow is a holiday!  Easter Sunday!  Since there is much to do, even today, this entry might not be long.

As you well know, Easter and Passover are times for great miracles, and in times like these, just about everyone could use a little miracle (including me!), so, as all of us are busy preparing baskets and banquets, we must also take time to reflect on miracles, and on how long some of them take in manifesting themselves.  Miracles are for everyone, but sometimes, let's face it, miracles can take an awful long time to manifest themselves.  Even when we think that Mr. Miracle should come right through the front door right this minute, sometimes, they can, and do, take an awful long time to come through that door.  This is where patience comes in.  You see, sometimes you have to be willing to wait in order for the miracle to come in and do everyone a world of good, because, well, sometimes it takes a lot of time to get everything put in place so that, when the miracle does happen, it is so wonderful that everyone can't help but benefit from it (I hear that a certain miracle took about 33 years to manifest itself).  So the more you're willing to wait on a miracle, the more you can appreciate it.

And speaking of appreciating things, this particular holiday season is also about appreciating the miracles we already have as well.  For instance, we can all appreciate the fact that we finally have someone who's really in our corner in the White House after, oh, about eight years.  And those who have jobs can appreciate the fact that they still have them.  And you all can appreciate the fact that you all have me, to brighten all your lives.

Well, I've go to go.  I have eggs I've go to go dye.  Until next time, Happy Holidays to all!

Best regards,

Marley Sue
